Jason Halpern is an established real estate executive who guides JMH Development as managing partner and has a track record of construction and portfolio management across Westchester County, New York City, and South Florida. As a guiding principle, Jason Halpern seeks to respect the communities in which ground up building and adaptive reuse of existing structures takes place.
Over the years, Mr. Halpern and his team have renovated and transformed a number of buildings marked as historically significant. A prominent example is the former warehouse 184 Kent on Brooklyn’s waterfront, which is now 340 luxury apartment rental units. Combining exceptional Manhattan views with on-site retail and amenities, including a landscaped 20,000-square-foot courtyard, the project revitalized an underused property.
With a hands-on approach, Mr. Halpern oversees the entire development, from due diligence to site design, construction, marketing, and branding. He takes pride in maintaining strong communication with local communities and working toward win-win scenarios that enhance life for residents and create new opportunities. A committed charitable contributor, Jason Halpern has worked with the Westchester Medical Center in creating the Joel A. Halpern Trauma Center, which helps save lives.
